- The Partitio Contusionum is a manuscript found by archaeologists near the ancient city of Petra in 1844. It was originally from 10th century Arabic sources that were copied and translated into latin some time in the 12th century.
- How do you classify different types of bruising? Today doctors and forensic scientists organise bruises by size, colour, texture and associated pain or soreness in 6 degrees of severity. The ancient Arab doctor who compiled this document divides bruising into 4 main categories and 93 different types! His vision of the world is dominated by moral values, religious and hierarchical laws that offer a change in perspective on our present ideas...
- From contusio masturbatione to contusio religiosa to contusio adulterorum and contusio sellae controversae, this will change your view of bruises for ever!!!

Lampshades made of sheep and cow intestines, sofas made to look like the carcasses of the cows that were slaughtered for their skins, moulded spaces inside dead sheep. Especially, take a look at the objects she makes out of black clay, bronze and porcelain colonized by Bryozoans...
- Fallen Books is the name of a project by Melissa Dubbin and Aaron S. Davidson who collected images of library interiors after earthquakes. The result was an artist’s book containing these pictures arranged according to the severity of the earthquakes as measured on the modified Mercalli scale. Copies of the book were given to each library.
